Maltese Falcon
December 17, 2011
Birds of prey, I find them * they find me. Following my al fresco lunch, this beauty landed on a fence post below my terrace. Sixty plus minutes of time we spent, she obviously unaware of me peeping into her day. I only relented in my study when a driving rain shifted with the wind, pelting me, camera in hand. Our peregrine falcon remained on her perch far below, weathering the onslaught, stoic beauty. I am so fortunate to have this glimpse and to get a frame of her in flight. In my excitement I neglected to adapt the camera setting for still frame during rapid movement, plus I obviously could have used the long range telephoto lens, (Too much to pack.) Magnify the photo, she's in the lower left corner, near center. And please don't tell me if I've misidentified her, I like my illusions and delusions.
Sharing my morning face with you. Spared you the ratty hair. And, see my newest hat!
At noon CST each day, please think of me, smile with some memory of me with you and visualize us together. I will be practicing Qigong at this time each day.
Know I'm well cared for,
I know I'm well loved
Wishing you joy, love and a certain amount of mischief.
Hugs!
