I took part in the round Hayling Island Windsurf Race on friday on an antique Mistral Superlight Board (32 years old) and my largest wave sail and was somewhat surprised to be about 7th at the bridge!......but after that not so good and finished mid fleet. Old superlights are fast upwind but hard downwind and Hot Sails Maui Superfreaks make everything so easy! I have a plan for next year..........Many thanks to HISC for a fun day.
