Spotted this monitor lizard (Lanthanotus borneensis of the family Varanidae) at our backyard after lunch. I have always wished I could capture one with its tongue out.
A walk to a Buddhist Temple.
Taken at Hotel Unigraha, on a photo-walk with wifey late afternoon of Good Friday 2012.
I view the sunrise as a thing of beauty to enjoy and start the day right. The sunset, however, is not the end of an enjoyable day but is another thing of beauty to appreciate while relishing the wonderful day that has just passed hoping for another sunrise.

Do you serve your purpose in life? This bridge does. It connects a step to the other. No matter how fragile it looks, it makes life easier than not having it at all. The majestic Golden Gate vs this humble Bamboo Bridge? -- They are equally useful as both have the SAME purpose regardless of the distance of the 2 points it connects.
Like people, one is as important as the other regardless of position, caste, race or socio-economic status.
There are moments in life when we are more lit than the others, but we have to accept that, at times, others are more lit than us for one reason or the other. We have our own light to shine on us. We have to wait for it and enjoy the brightnesswhen it comes. There is nothing more unfair when you grab somebody else's light to shine on you when it is not yet your time... Yes you... Imagine a 9-ball game when players are in full concentration on how to win, and suddenly you direct any of those 4 lamps towards your face just to say "I'm here!". By just swinging those hanging pool table lamps during a game, you might get a 'dirty finger'. How much more with taking them for you to be noticed? If I am one of the players, I would create the 7th pocket out of your mouth.
