Quite possibly the oldest places in the U.S. are along the 2.5 miles (one way) trial through downtown Boston. Instead of going with the tour guide route we downloaded the app that took us along. Angela turned out to be quite the tour guide for us anyways. Most of the stuff along the way was built in the 1700s and dated back to the Revolutionary war. We finished the day feeling very patriotic and very out of shape.
