In the end of April I went walking for a week with my best friend. We will come back and walk the whole way from St. Jean to Santiago next year.
Great fun shooting the new students of acting yesterday.
Nearly every year for the last 15 years there was a big transport of nuclear waste from La Hague in France to Gorleben in northern Germany. It is always accompanied with huge protest by the citiziens of the area around Gorleben where the waste is going to be buried for millions of years.
Portraits from the last couple of weeks/months.
I went to Ireland with a friend of mine this summer. This is kind of like a diary.
From Las Vegas we went to the Grand Canyon and through the desert towards Yosemite National Park and its great waterfalls.
I'm on a trip in the US with my dad and grandad. We're gonna see Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, San Francisco and LA, where our aunt/sister/daughter married and has a baby.
It's my first day now and we've only seen the Strip in Vegas. I don't know where they took the false turn here.... but something's definitely gone wrong. I mean.... little Venice under a roof with day-and-night-changes every couple hours and a fake Canale Grande with motorized gondolas? Come on.
Now that I am back in Hannover I selected some photos of my seventh day in this beautiful city. I went to meet Ibrahim Koc again, who I was making my reportage about (coming soon). Above his studio there is this really nice small gallery. I wanted to take the two owners portraits but only Mark was there. So here is him and their last exhibition before the summer closing.
On my fourth day in Istanbul i finally got to start with my reportage I have to do for university. I'm gonna take pictures of a Turkish artist, who lives and works in Istanbul. He is a sculptor and is currently working for a group exhibition in Berlin next month. One of the biggest galleries in Istanbul represents his work here. His name is Ibrahim Koc. I don't wanna show the reportage before it is finished, so just some random photos for today. I spent my whole fifth day with him, so no photos for that day. Also no photos for day 6, as I didn't touch my camera once today.
On my third day here I was strolling in small streets again and still didn't find a topic for the reportage we have to finish here... need to start this today!
