Back in June, I had the pleasure of attending the Bergman Week on the island of Fårö, which was where Ingmar Bergman livedand subsequently died. I decided to see the movie 'The Seventh Seal' with an introduction by German director Wim Wenders. Not only was it wonderful to see this sometimes misunderstood movie through the words of Wenders but the venue was the icing on the cake: a barn/cinema or 'bio', complete with wooden seats, an intermission and as well as coffee and homemade swedish 'bulle' (cinnamon buns) on the lawn. This is how they went to the movies in the good old days, I guess.
