This summer, I attended the funeral of Patrick's grandma Patty. I was inspired by all the things she accomplished and her zest for knowledge as well as her creative drive. I learned that she was an accomplished sailor, spinner, seamstress, weaver, dyer, accordion player, poet, basket maker and probably a ton other things. I have always been intrigued by people who try and do everything and she obviously did. I drew a portrait as an ode and gave it to Patrick. Patrick and I were lucky enough to receive some her awesome Scandinavian ceramics. I just love the motifs and certainly enjoy having fish n chips on these little numbers. RIP.
