Darren and Kathy's wedding
February 5, 2012
These are some shots of the first wedding I have had the pleasure of photographing. I found the whole experience fantastic but the day itself very stressful. The actual venue was really dark and i struggled with the poor light all day. It made me really look at my methods and equipment. Since then i have started to get into flash photography much more as though I love natural light know that there are times flashes are necessary and actually can be used to great effect. My lenses where the other area i struggled. My 50mm F1.8 was great and to be honest most shots where taken with it. I couldnt have faulted it. The other lens i used was a 28mm F2.8, and although technically a macro I thought it would be ok. It was only afterwards going through the photos i discovered that it is very soft on the left and infact ruined many of the shots.
I guess overall i was happy with the photos and some infact i was extremely happy with. Would i do it again? Yes but next time i will have better glass and not be afraid to use flashes.

Just some views
February 3, 2012
These are just some photos of things i like. Scrabo Tower is a few minutes from my house. The first photo was taken at the side of the road on the way from my in-laws house and the second photo of it was from a local grave yard.
