My friend and I made it to the big apple for a couple of days. I had not been there in 4 years. Should definitely make the short(?) trip up from DC more often. I'll upload some photos I took over several entries...

subway heat and humidity are less than ideal work conditions...

i guess access to cold drinks is more essential than the original purpose

stop #1: louis 649. no live music anymore, but still a great hangout. decent food too.

Stop #2: jules cafe. never been before but glad to find a great place for late night dinner and live jazz.
