On 4th of July we walked down to the national mall to take a look at the Folklife festival. The festival's themes were: 50th anniversary of Peace Corps, the country of Colombia, and Rhythm and Blues. Funny coincidence, my wife is a Peace Corps alumna and had also just visited Columbia for the first time last month - without me! So, I got a small taste of both of her experiences...
