Our horrible, wet, rainy, gross June is over... the sunshine returned today, and it appears Summer is ready to start... and that means time for two wheels again!

This photo was taken 5 years ago. My only intention was to capture the huge, black clouds that were approaching from the west. When I snapped the photo, I thought the flash had reflected off the window. It was only when I downloaded it later that I realized I had managed to capture "lightning in a bottle"!

Sunset on September 2, 2010. Without a doubt, the most amazing sunset I have witnessed to date since we moved here in 2007. There have been hundreds of amazing sunsets, but none as incredibly "red"-blooded" as this one!

There is nothing like a piston-engined WWII fighter plane, and the P51 Mustang was likely the best of them all! This is "Ferocious Frankie" at the 2010 Duxford "Flying Legends" Airshow.
