My husband and I had a house built in a new developement. We were the first to move in on our street and half of it was still empty. A month later, I'm working in my yard and this little boy comes up and asks.. "What are you doing?" I told him I was working on my flower bed and he asked to help. I didn't know his name for 3 days, but he quickly became part of my family. He's 20 years old now.. a long way from being that shy pudgy 11 year old.. Makes me sad, but happy at the same time that he is doing so well for himself. :)
