uv?
April 4, 2014
OK I had a play with IR photography with some success and we thought it would be interesting to look at UV, that is a whole different game. Filters and other stuff make it expensive and proper UV lenses made of quartz not glass are around £10,000 so I started looking around. I intend to buy a filter set that will cut out IR and visible light as soon as I can work out how to do it. I have also bought an old Soligor lens that is supposed to let more UV through than modern multi-coated lenses and a Nikon F adaptor. So I got to thinking, what if I take a picture with a UV filter nand the same image without a UV filter and subtract the two, these are what happened. Any comments?
