Cruise with Lynn, November 2011
November 25, 2011
In November 2011, I went to Amsterdam to pick up my sister and go down to the eastern Mediterranean for a one-week cruise. We took the train from Amsterdam to Venice by way of Paris, then wandered around Venice for a few hours before getting on the cruise ship. Once on the ship, we stopped at Bari, Katakolon (Olympia), Izmir (Ephesus), Istanbul, and Dubrovnik, then returned in Venice. When we arrived in Venice, the port was closed due to fog so we had to detour to Trieste and then get bussed back to Venice to catch a flight back to Amsterdam. Getting back was a long and annoying process, but it was a fantastic vacation and these are the pictures to tell the story!
