Visited the Thung Kiwan Market outside of Lampang. It specializes in northern Thai handicrafts and food... With a wide assortment of insects! I was not up for the culinary challenge, Anthony Bourdain would be disappointed in me. They were all deep fried and crispy - some large enough to have their legs tied back! I'm told they are a great snack with beer. Popular sellers: Jing Leed (cricket), Non Pai (worm), and Tak Ga Tan (grasshopper).
