Catania is the second-largest city in Sicily and is located on the east coast facing the Ionian Sea. A huge volcanic eruption from the neighbouring Mount Etna volcano, nearly destroyed the city in 1669. Today Catania is quite famous for his old university and his greek history.
During summer a lot of tourists all over the world come to Sicily to enjoy the mediterranean atmosphere and its beautiful cuisine but in winter it is hard for people to find a full time job.
People protesting against Silvio Berlusconi's politics and the right-wing party Lega Nord, which tries to separate the country into a dividing state because his bad economic situation of the south part of Italy.
