Well if there ever was a time for poetry, that time is now. The terrible economy and my constant lack of funds is helping me appreciate those simple moments: the other day, I turned off the internet (a hard thing to do) and sat down and read a sensationally good poem. I also listened to some poetry instead of my usual ipod shuffle mode and again, got to be in a different reality from the one I routinely reside in. Thank you poets! Your job is so important.
